Sought after by world class musicians, Cindy Lam has had the pleasure of performing with critically acclaimed musicians such as internationally celebrated multiple Grammy winner, American cellist Lynn Harrell; LA Philharmonic principal concertmaster Martin Chalifour; Konstantin Boyarsky, principal viola of Royal Opera House - Covent Garden; Nitzan Haroz, principal trombonist of the Philadelphia Orchestra; Bruce Dukov, former concertmaster of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra; LA Opera concertmaster Roberto Cani, and virtuoso violinist Linda Wang, as well as members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.

Cindy Lam has played in venues such as Walt Disney Concert Hall with the USC Thornton Symphony under Maestro Carl St. Clair, and Royce Hall with the American Youth Symphony under David Newman. Most recently, in 2019, Cindy performed in an 18-city tour of China with violinist Chin Kim, top prizewinner of international competitions such as Queen Elisabeth, Paganini, and Indianapolis. She has also played chamber music concerts in Italy at the Zephyr International Chamber Music Festival. She gave her debut solo recital in Alfred Newman Hall at the University of Southern California.
Cindy Lam began her piano studies at the age of three and build her foundation and love for music through her childhood teacher, Li-Mei Kuo. She later studied with world-renowned pianist Daniel Pollack, a prizewinner of the 1st Tchaikovsky International Competition, as well as Kirill Gliadkovsky and Ayke Agus, assistant & personal accompanist to the legendary Jascha Heifetz. She graduated from Polytechnic School in Pasadena and the USC Thornton School of Music with a degree in Piano Performance and additional extensive study in Music Education and Pedagogy. Cindy is a prizewinner of the Brentwood-Westwood Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, as well as the Torrance Symphony Young Artists’ Concerto Competition.
Cindy Lam is passionate about engaging community through programs involving arts, education and children. She has helped raise funds through music for local organizations such as Los Angeles Children's Chorus, Girls' Service League, Hillsides Home for Children, Urban Voices Project, Families Forward, National Charity League, One Heart Source, Ronald McDonald House, Union Station Homeless Services, Villa Esperanza, and Discovery Arts. She has also donates her time to play in outreach and education concerts in schools across Los Angeles, as well as for the Children’s Concerts by the Shumei Arts Council, and was featured in a major fundraiser for the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units at the The Huntington Memorial Hospital.
